Basilio married Sabina Jalandoni and they had sixteen children. Later generations inter-married with other Spanish Filipino families. The most prominent members of the family are the brothers Eugenio López, Sr.✝ and Fernando López, Sr.✝. Eugenio's business interests are now known as the Lopez Group of Companies. It includes the media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation, First Philippine Holdings Corporation, and Lopez Holdings Corporation.
